VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - actors, backstage, activities.

Interested Scare Actors or Backstage Crew for the haunt zones can attend our General "Boo-cruitment" Meeting to LEARN MORE  (This meeting is required for all new volunteer candidates AND returning volunteers for these positions.)

  • General "Boo-cruitement" Meeting Dates - Sat, Sept 14, 1-3pm, OR Thurs, Sept 19, 5:30-7:30pm.
  • You DO NOT need to be an approved volunteer to join this meeting.  But if you intend to become a volunteer, you MUST submit the Volunteer Packet,  AND returning volunteers must submit a new Background Check.
  • Activities Crew volunteers - activities include carnival games, glitter tattoos, crafts and ticket taking. This requires the same Volunteer Packet submission.
  • There is a MANDATORY ORIENTATION for ALL Shriek Week Volunteers (new and returning).
  • Email Stacee Lanz to sign up for the General Meeting, to submit Volunteer Forms, or any questions.

Limited availability. Reserve your spot early! Unlike other haunted houses, we use a reservation system so you don't need to stand in line... for hours with your kids.  We take small groups to create a special experience for each person, who get their own “tour.”

Haunted House:  Ghouls Gold - A Pirate's Wreckage          

Recommended Ages 7-12

Climb aboard th' wreckage o' notorious pirate ship Ghouls
Gold. Tall tales be told o' rival buccaneers, sinister storms, plagued captives, 'n th' black spotted Kraken…but who really knows wha' came o' th' infamous krewe o' cast’ways-or if they left at all. They might even be buried under all that loot.

Fri and Sat, Oct 18, 19, 25, 26  |  6pm-10:30pm

Thurs, Oct 24 LITE NITE (recommended ages 5-12)  |   5pm-9pm
(brighter lights, lesser frights)

Advance $6 per person; $9 per person beginning Oct. 8. Adults MUST purchase a reservation with their kids.


Additional Attractions

Attractions held from 6-10pm Fridays and Saturdays; 5-9pm Thursday (LITE NITE). Some times may vary. Attractions require Activity Tickets (unless noted), purchased on event day. All forms of payment accepted (but cash is fast).

Visit a makeshift lab at a secret crash site where hidden experiments reveal a sinister government cover-up.  Recommended ages 5-12

This will be closed on LITE NITE, Thurs, Oct. 24.

Outdoors - Patio Pavilion

Carnival games get a glow-in-the dark makeover under black lights.

Recommended for ages 3 - 12

1 activity ticket per game (13 games)

Inside Community Center

Take a ride aboard this 26 passenger vintage-made train, which also features ADA access (wheelchair accessible).  With a top of the line sound system, LED lights, and a steam whistle, this is a ride for the entire family.

Paid adults must ride with paid kids 10 years and younger.  Although not a "haunted" train ride, it does travel through darker areas.

Outdoors - field

Join Animal Tales for a table-top petting zoo. Get up close and personal with a variety of animals such as a big snake, scorpion, tarantula, bullfrog, bunny, parrot, tortoise, skunk, chinchilla, and hedgehog (animal inclusion subject to change).

Recommended for all ages, with adult supervision.

Outdoors - basketball court

This Interactive show will feature GIANT stiltwalking LED lighted robots who dance and shoot CO2 air a meet & greet, and LED lighted  DJ. 

(Note- 1st weekend only)

Recommended ages 4-12 (loud music, crowded)

Outdoors - Family Pavilion

Amazing Mr. A, as Obi Wan Kenobi, unleashes the FORCE. Light sabers, lasers, R2D2 and C3PO, and a special appearance by Yoda, complete with audience participation.

(Note- 2nd weekend only)

A marketplace of unique vendors and seasonal goods.  Payment at vendor booths
