STEM-ICON INNOVATORS: ENCHANTED WORLDS

AGES 5-6

Through fun and exciting curriculum, young learners are encouraged to become creators and innovators. Participants will be challenged with different STEM tasks each day building and programming robots. Demonstration for parents on Friday, 6/5 at 12:30pm. Promotes: teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Bring a lunch, snack, and beverage. Material Fee $30 payable to Instructor at the first class.

AGES 7-10

Creative, inquisitive, and tech savvy participants will work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while coding deep sea secret missions for their team’s robots while learning basic engineering principles. Participants will explore STEM topics according to age. Challenges introduce your child to the world of engineering. Demonstration for parents on Friday, 6/19 at 2:30pm Promotes: critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Bring a lunch, snack, and beverage. Materials Fee $50 due to Instructor at the first class.

Does your child like to explore, build, and take apart gadgets? Learn about different fields of engineering using the Engineering Design Process to construct and program unique machines. Thinking out side the box., customize and code your own masterpieces! Explore STEM topics according to age. Demonstration for parents on Friday,  7/24 at 2:30pm. Promotes: critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Bring a lunch, snack, and beverage. Materials Fee $50 due to Instructor at the first class.

AGES 9-13

Does your child like to explore their environment and love technology and coding? Put together a drone, learn the physics behind them, and apply your coding abilities to fly them through exciting obsatacle courses. Learn to program your own apps using a drag and drop coding environment. Challenges cover fields on software, electrical, aerospace, and physics engineering. Demonstration for parents on Friday 8/7 at 2:30pm. Promotes: problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Bring a lunch, snack, and beverage. Materials Fee $50 payable to Instructor at the first class. An optional additional Materials Fee $50 for a take-home drone.
